We are set free from performance orientation. We are set free from the past and are ready for a new beginning in God.

The Blood Gives You Grace To Reign In Life

The Greek word for Grace is Charis, which is often described as “unearned favor.” This favor was poured out for us through the blood of Jesus.

And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

I Timothy 1:14

Through the free gift of His grace and righteousness, we will reign in life. Through His blood, we can be overcomers of all things that come against us.

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:17

Through that same grace, we are equipped with everything that we need to be generous and fruitful to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

2 Corinthians 9:8

Grace also gives us provision in areas of our lives where struggles exist.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 4:16

Grace is freely given to you by God through the sacrifice of His Son, whose blood was shed for your sins. God is always present in your time of need and He has equipped you to overcome the enemy and reign in life. Never be timid about going to Him when times are tough. The blood of Jesus allows you to freely approach the throne with your needs.

The Blood Gives Boldness For A New Beginning To Overcome Your Past

As the Israelites were about to prepare their very first Passover meal, the Lord declared to them:

This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

Exodus 12:2

This was to be the “first month” because Passover marked a new beginning for those who obeyed the Lord. At that first Passover, a lamb was slain, but later, Jesus, the son of the living God, redeemed us once and for all, giving us a new beginning and a new nature. Old things are washed away. Past sins, past bondages, past weaknesses, and past defeats – are finished! IT’S OVER!

The blood of Jesus takes away timidity. Now you can approach God for the things you need. Take hold of the force of God’s new beginnings in your life. Come boldly before God’s throne, because of the blood of Jesus.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus …

Hebrews 10:19

You will never walk in the fullness of God until you have the boldness to approach God intimately through the shed blood of Jesus.
